SmarTek Network Device Server DS-1

A complete solution (hardware and software) for web-enabling your serial devices. This powerful device server comes with a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet connection, a reliable and proven operating system stored in flash memory, with an embedded web server, and a full TCP/IP protocol stack.

The STS-DS1 is designed to operate in harsh environments and has a very compact footprint. An efficient onboard switching voltage regulator allows a wide range of input DC voltage levels. The STS-DS1 connects a serial RS-232 device to a network through a TCP channel or by sending datagrams using a UDP channel. Every TCP connection and every UDP datagram is defined by a destination IP Address and a Port Number.
